Step 1 — Prepare
Clean the perineal area and gather the GentleDrain™ Shield, tubing, backflow valve, and drainage container.
Step 2 — Place the Shield
Position the GentleDrain™ Sheild externally against the perineal area for a secure, comfortable fit.
Step 3 — Connect & Start
Attach the tubing and backflow valve; connect to the suction unit. Gentle suction draws urine away from the skin.
Step 4 — Collect & Dispose
Urine flows into the drainage container for safe collection. Replace or empty as needed, following infection-control practices.
